After the successful prelude of the fvw|TravelTalk congress abroad, namely in Turkey, this year it goes to one of the biggest metropolises in Spain: Valencia. The leading trade congress of the German-speaking tourism industry will take place for the 25th time this year. The industry event is scheduled for September 20-23, 2023, and the convention hotel will be the Meliá Valencia.

Two topics will be the focus of the industry event: the prospects and application of AI-based tools in the travel industry and sustainability, such as the opportunities for climate-neutral flying. And it's about looking ahead to 2024 and the prospects for Spain as the largest foreign travel destination for Germans.

The breaks and the evening events - including an evening in the Art Nouveau Market Hall in the center of Valencia - offer an ideal opportunity for high-quality networking among decision-makers from the German and international industry. In addition to tourism professionals from German-speaking countries, leading managers from the hotel, incoming and travel tech sectors from Spain will also be attending.

High-ranking experts such as physicist Rüdiger Off, who is also advising the EU Commission on the planned AI regulation, top managers such as Stefan Baumert (TUI), Ingo Burmester (DER Touristik), Laura Meyer (Hotelplan Group), Karl Markgraf (FTI Group), Gloria Fluxà (Iberostar) and Rainer Klee (Aerticket), as well as many other well-known tourism experts and professionals will be on stage.
